About Craft
Grace Kim, MAI, AI-GRS is the founder and owner of Craft Valuation, a Seattle based commercial real estate valuation, review and consulting firm founded in 2025. Grace has been an active commercial real estate appraiser since 2004, developing her expertise at an independent boutique firm, global company, and innovative tech-enabled startup.
Throughout her career, Grace has completed thousands of property valuations across all stages of development, including proposed, partially built, renovated, and existing structures. Her work spans multifamily, retail, office, industrial, land, and special-purpose assets. Her multifamily specialization covers garden-style, mid-rise, high-rise, micro and congregate housing, with a substantial volume of work completed for agency lenders. She additionally has experience with internal quality control reviews and serves as a third party reviewer for local and national clients.
Grace received the MAI designation (2013) and AI-GRS designation (2023) through the Appraisal Institute.
